Chris, 39, was born in Fulton, Miss., Chris and Beth Thrasher found drive and a sense of purpose through jiu-jitsu and founded Vector to instill the art’s values of discipline and hard work in challenged students.
His first exposure to jiu-jitsu came when he watched Royce Gracie fight in the second Ultimate Fighting Championship in 1993.
Chris teaches Vector students, "One reason size means little in jiu-jitsu is that practitioners do not strike their opponents. Instead, the art centers on grappling and applying the laws of physics to gain the advantage."
"We want them to understand that you don't need to compare yourself to or be better than someone else. You only have to be a better you."
If he has any tattoos he wont tell us where at.
Hopes to the change the future of every student that comes through the door of Vector for the better, determined to stand behind being the best positive role model he can be for them.
Is a devoted family man & husband to Beth. Loves his Vector life,
